Dr. Md. Nazirul Islam Sarker
Founder & CEO, Research & Report Consultancy
Dr. Md. Nazirul Islam Sarker is an internationally recognized scholar and Professor at Xi’an University of Finance and Economics, China. He is also a Visiting Professor at Daffodil International University, Bangladesh, and an Adjunct Research Faculty at IUBAT, Bangladesh. With over 18 years of experience, he has established himself as a leading expert in agricultural economics, agroecology, resilience, vulnerability, governance, public policy, and sustainability.
He received his Ph.D. from Sichuan University, China, where his research focused on livelihood resilience of riverine island (char) dwellers in Bangladesh. His academic excellence has earned him global recognition, and he is listed among the top 2% of scientists in the world by Stanford University, USA.
Dr. Sarker has authored over 175 scientific publications, including journal articles, books, book chapters, and conference papers, with his research cited more than 6430 times (h-index: 45, i-index: 119). As an academic editor for leading journals such as PLOS One, BMC Public Health, Sustainability, and Frontiers in Psychology, he actively contributes to global research discourse.

Dr. Md. Enamul Huq
Deputy Lead Consultant, Research & Report Consultancy
Dr. Md. Enamul Huq is an accomplished academic and research professional with over 15 years of experience in teaching, scientific research, and consultancy. He currently serves as an Associate Professor at Yulin University, China, and has previously worked as an Associate Researcher and Faculty at Hohia University, China. He earned his PhD in 2018 from China University of Geosciences (Wuhan) under the prestigious Chinese Government Scholarship (CSC), following his postdoctoral research at Wuhan University, China. Dr. Huq holds an MS in Geography and Environmental Studies from the University of Rajshahi, Bangladesh, where he ranked second in his cohort.
Dr. Huq has a distinguished record in research and consultancy, having worked as a Principal Investigator (PI), International Consultant, and Project Member on multiple research initiatives. His expertise spans geography, environmental studies, and sustainability research, with a strong focus on policy development and applied research.
He has authored 43 scientific publications, including articles in ISI-indexed journals, book chapters, conference proceedings, and a book. His research has received global recognition, with over 1,250 citations on Google Scholar. Additionally, he actively contributes to the academic community as an Editorial Board Member of BMC Research Notes and a peer reviewer for over 20 ISI-indexed journals.
Dr. Huq is also a seasoned speaker, having delivered keynote addresses at international conferences and participated in numerous national and global workshops. His expertise and contributions make him a valuable asset to Research & Report Consultancy, where he leads high-impact research projects and provides strategic insights for evidence-based decision-making.

Pankoz Chandra Roy
Research Associate, Research & Report Consultancy
Pankoz Chandra Roy is a PhD candidate in Agricultural Extension at Sylhet Agricultural University, Bangladesh, with extensive expertise in agricultural research, food security, and rural development. His research focuses on yield gap analysis, sustainable farming practices, and the socioeconomic impacts of agricultural innovations.
With over a decade of research experience, he has worked on multiple national and international research projects, collaborating with Bangladesh Agricultural University, Hajee Mohammad Danesh Science and Technology University, and other leading institutions. His projects have covered critical topics such as the impact of COVID-19 on vegetable production, livelihood patterns of farm women, and the role of improved crop varieties in food security.
Pankoz has authored several peer-reviewed publications in reputable national and international journals, contributing significantly to the field of agricultural extension and rural development. His research provides data-driven insights for policymakers, development practitioners, and farming communities.

Mr. A.Z.M. Shafiullah Prodhan
Research Associate, Research & Report Consultancy
Mr. A.Z.M. Shafiullah Prodhan is an experienced researcher and development practitioner with an academic background in Horticulture and Agricultural Sciences. He holds an MSc in Horticulture from Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Agricultural University (BSMRAU) and a B.Sc. in Agriculture (Hons.) from Hajee Mohammad Danesh Science and Technology University (HSTU).
Mr. Prodhan has extensive experience in the agricultural development sector, having worked on multiple field-based projects focused on pesticide-free vegetable production, value chain development, and sustainable livelihoods. He previously served as a Program Officer at Unnayan Shohojogi Sangstha Bonarpara (USSB), Gaibandha, under the MCC-funded project, and is currently engaged as an Executive in the Production Department at Ispahani Agro Limited, specializing in seed production and management.
His core areas of expertise include:
- Horticultural crop production and extension
- Livelihood resilience and agribusiness development
- Training facilitation and agricultural demonstration
- Market linkages and farmer support services
In addition to his practical experience, Mr. Prodhan has published several peer-reviewed research articles in the fields of horticulture, agribusiness, public administration, and e-banking, reflecting his commitment to academic scholarship and evidence-based development practices.

Mr. Towheedul Alam
Research Assistant, Research & Report Consultancy
Mr. Towheedul Alam is an emerging researcher with academic credentials in Economics and Development Studies, having completed both his undergraduate and postgraduate studies at the Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP). With a deep-seated interest in academic writing and social research, he has been actively involved in various writing and research projects since his university years.
Mr. Alam has completed a certification course in ‘Introduction to Islamic Economy and Finance’ from the Islamic Finance Academy and Consultancy (IFAC), further expanding his knowledge in Islamic economic systems. His academic research titled “Mental Health Condition among Female Workers During COVID-19 Pandemic: Insights from Dhaka City” was published in the International Journal of Public Health Science (IJPHS), reflecting his commitment to evidence-based and socially relevant research.
In addition to his academic background, Mr. Alam has gained valuable professional experience in content creation, data collection, and organizational communication through roles such as Online Marketing Executive at Mirror Lifestyle, Office Executive at HB Aviation Training Center, and Data Enumerator at Swiss Contact. These positions have strengthened his practical skills in data management, communication, digital content development, and client engagement.

Mr. Md. Mushfiqus Saleheen
Research Assistant, Research & Report Consultancy
Mr. Md. Mushfiqus Saleheen is an enthusiastic researcher with a strong academic background in Geography and Environmental Science, holding both BSc and MSc degrees from Begum Rokeya University, Rangpur. He has developed significant expertise in geospatial analysis, environmental modeling, and socio-environmental research, contributing to several impactful national and international projects.
Mr. Saleheen has hands-on experience in fieldwork, digital data collection, and stakeholder engagement, gained through roles at organizations such as SOS Children’s Villages Bangladesh, UNESCO, Bangladesh Bureau of Statistics (BBS), and LightCastle Partners. His responsibilities have ranged from beneficiary surveys to report writing and data analysis, strengthening his skills in data visualization, spatial tools (ArcGIS, QGIS, TerrSet), and Microsoft Office Suite.
He is also an active contributor to academic scholarship, having co-authored peer-reviewed journal articles and book chapters published by PLOS ONE, Springer, and Academic Press, focusing on topics such as urbanization modeling, land use change, riverbank erosion, and climate resilience.

H. M. Rayhanul Islam
Research Associate, Research & Report Consultancy
H. M. Rayhanul Islam is a dedicated researcher specializing in environmental science, water quality assessment, climate change adaptation, and ecosystem conservation. He holds an MSc in Environmental Science from Bangladesh Agricultural University, where his research focused on water quality assessment using Water Quality Index (WQI) in Mehendiganj, Barishal. He also earned a BSc in Environmental Science and Disaster Management from Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Science & Technology University, exploring climate-induced livelihood vulnerability in riverine islands of Bangladesh.
With extensive research experience, Rayhanul has worked on multiple projects as a Research Assistant for prestigious organizations, including USAID’s Ecosystems/Protibesh Activity, Bangladesh Agricultural University Research System (BAURES), and the Bangladesh Bureau of Statistics. His expertise includes geospatial analysis (GIS), statistical modeling (R-Studio), and environmental risk assessment.
Rayhanul has contributed to several peer-reviewed publications and book chapters on environmental sustainability, blue economic growth, and public health. His work has been presented at international conferences, highlighting his commitment to scientific innovation. He has also received the National Science and Technology (NST) Fellowship for his contributions to environmental research.

Minhazul Abedin
Research Assistant, Research & Report Consultancy
Minhazul Abedin is an emerging researcher with a strong academic background in sociology, currently pursuing his studies at Dhaka College. He is passionate about social research, policy analysis, and community development, focusing on understanding societal structures and their impact on economic and environmental resilience.
